Astral Voyages
The human being is a triad of Body, Soul, and Spirit. The Soul is the mediator between the Spirit and the Body. A Soul is acquired and a Spirit IS. The Innermost is the highest aspect within us; the Innermost is the Spirit. The Testament of Learning states: "Before the false dawn came over this earth, those who survived the hurricane and the storm gave praise to the Innermost, and to them appeared the heralds of the dawn."
Thus, the Soul is between the terrestrial man and the Innermost; the Soul is dressed with an ultra-sensible, material body with which it travels through space. This ultra-sensible, material body is the Astral Body. Thus, the Astral Body has something of the human and something of the divine.
The Astral Body has its ultra-physiology and its ultra-pathology, which are intimately related with the grand sympathetic nervous system and our glands of internal secretion. The Astral Body is endowed with marvelous senses that we can utilize in order to investigate the great mysteries of life and death.
The mind, the will, and the consciousness are inside the Astral Body. Our disciples must learn how to travel in their Astral Body.
The subject matter we are teaching in this chapter is a tremendous reality. Unfortunately, the brethren from all spiritualist schools totally ignore the use and maneuvering of the Astral Body.
We feel nothing but pain when we see that the brethren of those distinct organizations are so ignorant about the use and maneuvering of the Astral Body. The brethren from these distinct spiritualist schools live in the Astral Plane with their consciousness asleep.
When a brother or sister enters into the path, the tenebrous ones from the lunar path attack them during their normal sleep; there, these brethren from the shadows assume the shape of the Guru in order to divert these disciples. Now we can comprehend why it is a crime to not teach the disciples the practical use and maneuvering of the Astral Body.
It is necessary for our disciples to awaken their consciousness during the normal sleep so that they can defend themselves against the attacks of the tenebrous ones.
To acquire cognizance of the process of normal sleep is not dangerous; we must acquire cognizance of all of our natural functions.
The Hill of Chapultepec
In this chapter, we see a fragment of a native Mexican codex depicting the Hill of Chapultepec. At the top of the hill, we see a grasshopper or cricket. In the august Rome of the Caesars, the cricket was sold in golden cages at costly prices.
An Aztec temple in "Jinn" State exists within the Hill of Chapultepec. The natives of Mexico would make long mystical pilgrimages to Chapultepec. We must now comprehend why the Aztecs considered this hill to be sacred.
By carefully observing the fragment of the Mexican codex of Chapultepec, we see two human beings floating above the hill. Those two beings are traveling in their Astral Bodies. A human head pronounces a note, represented by two beams of light that come out of his lips. That note is the sibilant and sharp sound of the cricket. That sound is the keynote of the Logos. The Logos sounds.
All of nature is the incarnation of the Word. The keynote of the cricket is the Word. That note is a chorus; our keynote vibrates within that ineffable chorus.
If a musician playing a musical instrument fortuitously played our keynote, we would instantly drop dead. Everything in nature has a keynote.
Whosoever wants to project in their Astral Body at will must enter into the state of slumber while mentally pronouncing the syllable "LA," mentally alternated with the syllable "RA." Pronounce these two syllables mentally and in an alternated and separate manner.
The student must try to listen to the sharp sound of the cricket. Such a sound emerges from within our brain cells. For this, it is necessary to have a serene mind, enough drowsiness, and focused attention on what one is doing.
If this exercise is performed well, then at the moment the student enters into the state of transition that exists between vigil and sleep, the student will sense the sharp sound of the cricket within his brain. The student must then willfully enter a little more into the slumber state and increase the resonance of that sound. Then he will get up from his bed and exit his bedroom, heading towards the Temple of Chapultepec, or towards the Gnostic Church, or to any place he wishes to go.
When we state that the student must get up from his bed, this must be performed with action, since this is not a mental exercise. Indeed, this is not a matter of thinking that one is getting up; the disciple must perform it in action, without thinking.
Thus, when getting up from his bed, the student must actually do it, because in order for the Astral Body to become free, the physical body must remain in the bed, and Nature will (as usual) perform the separation of the physical and Astral bodies. This is why the student has to just get up from his bed, and that is all.
With this clue, our Gnostic disciples will travel in their Astral Body to the temples of mysteries of the White Lodge.
If our disciples would like to have better concentration, it would be very appealing for them to have a little cricket in their bedrooms. The cricket can be kept in a small cage. This way, by focusing on the cricket's sound, it will resound within our brain sooner. With this clue, we can attend the great temples of the White Lodge.
Whosoever wants to learn occult science has to travel in the Astral Body, because occult science is studied within the internal worlds, and occult science is learned only by personally conversing with the Masters.
The intellectual theories of this physical world are worthless; they only harm the mind and the brain.
The regent of the Temple of Chapultepec is the Master Rasmussen.
Two guardians with flaming swords guard the entrance of the temple. Ancient wisdom is taught within this temple.
The great Masters of the White Lodge assemble in this temple.
Clue for the Awakening of the Consciousness during Normal Sleep
There is no danger in the projection of the Astral body, because everybody is projected in their Astral bodyduring normal sleep. Therefore, whosoever wants to awaken their Consciousness during normal sleep must know the clue of discernment.
During normal sleep, every human being wanders in the internal worlds with their Consciousness asleep. During normal sleep, the Soul, enveloped by its Astral body, abandons the physical body. This is how the Ethereal Body is able repair the dense physical body.
We awaken from our natural sleep when the Soul enters into the physical body. In the internal worlds, the Souls are occupied repeating their same daily chores; there, they buy and sell as in the physical world.
During normal sleep, the Souls of the living and the Souls of the dead coexist together. In the internal worlds, we see everything as in the physical world, i.e. the same sun, the same clouds, the same houses of the city: everything looks the same.
Now, our Gnostic disciples will understand why the souls of the dead do not accept that they are physically dead. Likewise, our disciples will comprehend why the Souls of the living buy and sell, work, etc., during their normal sleep.
By consciously projecting ourselves in the Astral body, we can know about the mysteries of life and death, since every human being is unconsciously projected in the Astral body during normal sleep. Therefore, if we awaken the Consciousness during normal sleep, then we can know about the great mysteries of life and death.
A clue exists for the awakening of the Consciousness during normal sleep; this clue for the awakening of the Consciousness is that of discernment, let us study it:
If while walking on a given street you unexpectedly find a friend or see objects that attract your attention, then perform a little jump with the intention of floating; naturally, logic says that if you float, it is because you are wandering outside of your physical body. However, if you do not float, it is because you are doing the jump with your physical body.
During normal sleep, within the internal worlds, it so happens that we act the same way as we would within the body of flesh and bones, and if we add to this the fact that we see everything the same way as when we are in the physical world, then we will comprehend that it is only if we float or fly that we will be aware of the fact that we are in our Astral body; we then achieve the awakening of our Consciousness.
To that effect, this exercise must be practiced at every moment during the vigil state while in the presence of any intriguing matter, since what we perform during the vigil state we repeat during normal sleep. Thus, when through our subconsciousness we repeat this practice during normal sleep, then when performing the jump, the outcome will be that we will float in the Astral body. This is how our Consciousness will awaken and filled with happiness we will say: "I am in my Astral body...!"
Thus, we can direct ourselves to the Holy Gnostic Church in order to converse with the Angels, Archangels, Seraphim, Prophets, Masters, etc. This is how we receive instruction from the great Masters of the White Lodge. This is how we can travel in the Astral body throughout the infinite.
So, we do not need to destroy our minds with so many books and theories, since within the internal worlds we can receive the teachings from the Masters.
When awakening from normal sleep, disciples must exert themselves to remember everything that they saw and heard during their normal sleep.
It is also necessary that our disciples learn how to interpret their internal experiences. To that effect, study the book of Daniel in the Bible; there, you will learn how to interpret internal experiences.
The slumber state and memory are the powers that allow us to know the great mysteries of life and death.
Dreams are "Astral experiences."
Dreams are reality.
