The word initiation defines the beginning of a trip through life where using words of those great wise men, we will find hundreds of deeds, thousands of people from whom we must learn if, in fact, we sincerely want our “self-realization.”
Everyone begins a trip, studies, begins a business, goes through many deeds in life but the initiation to which we refer is a drama exclusively spiritual, esoteric and has to do with something that we have elected because we want to be the owners of ourselves; we want to know ourselves and awaken on this trip.
All of this makes up part of the work we need to do in order to unite ourselves with our “being”.
The person who aspires to being an “initiate” within the Christic mysteries must prepare himself/herself emotionally, psychologically and physically everyday for that meeting with the exterior world; these are the people and the events that surround us so that we are never taken by surprise so that it might make us leave that behavior that we must have as people who aspire to superior knowledge.
The initiate must not try to avoid the contact with these people and with those events in life because all of them, directly or indirectly, make up part of our own drama and no student who is serious in any university or high school would want to cut the class of the best teachers since the student would not learn the best of the subjects he has to learn. This is what happens to us, the initiates, if we wanted to avoid meeting those people or those events in our lives that will make us feel uncomfortable and that will show us through our own reactions what we are really are.
These people and these events are what make our legion manifest themselves; they come out into the light so that we can know who they are. After that, we must comprehend them and with the help of the Divine Mother Kundalini, eliminate them.
There are things we would like to allude to in the life of a Gnostic student and this is one of them:
When we are initiated into these studies, we must accept and therefore comprehend that as of that moment, as of that step, all the people we meet and all those events that take place make up part of our initiation and we could say, that these are indispensable for our work. When something happens to some of our brothers and sisters or someone does something to them, they do not see these things as part of their own work; then, they say, “i like the initiation; i accept it but this person (whoever) is getting involved in my life and i do not accept that. This event is not part of my initiation so i must defend myself; i must attack; i must protest because i didn’t enter these studies to become a fool but to awaken”. In other words, this person only wants to accept those soft, easy little things that come along as well as those really nice people; those things that do not produce pain.
Don’t expect God to only give you those kinds of easy things on your path; the person wants to decide his own judgment and accept or reject whatever he/she decides.
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you can see why it is so difficult to find people who really want to be initiates in the Christic mysteries.
The initiation is as we said, the beginning of a road where we must realize that we are going to find many obstacles on it with many problems because they reflect what we carry inside us.
The initiation in the Christic drama is called “the path of the via crucis” where the initiate is not surrounded by all his friends but his enemies who hit him and whip him; those people who slander him and since they do not know this character they are torturing, seeing that he does not protest and he does not defend himself/herself, they crown him; this demonstrates that he is the authentic king because the ignorant put a crown of thorns on his head and God gives him the prize of making him an authentic king.
We are speaking to those who can understand this:
Are you willing to do your work? Are you willing to die for the world and be redo your spiritual life? Do you want to convert yourself into an authentic man or into an authentic woman?
The drama of the initiation gives you the opportunity to conquer yourself; to make yourself king of yourself but remember:
You must pay for everything. Nothing is given to you as a gift; you ask God to save you and to pardon you, true? Well then, God asks you to regenerate yourself in order to save you; to die within yourself; to sacrifice yourself for others.
The initiation is asked for in front of the altar; filled with faith and with courage, evoking the help of our internal father, of our Divine Mother and of the Christ; we must be willing to face all those situations even though they are really hard.
Remember that:
“To him who knocks, shall be opened and to him who asks, shall be given.”
