Every discipline that imposes on us in our esoteric Christic work collides with our consciousness and our will power is increased...

Dear esoteric brother, student of wisdom of the being, perhaps thirsting for light, aspiring to be free. Have you ever stopped to study what will power is? Here in this chapter, we will speak about that and try to study it by the light of the Christic esotericism which the V.M. Samael teaches us about this.

Will power is a force that emanates from the causal world in proportion to the Consciousness that we have and the super-efforts well channeled that we make for every circumstance in life.

Will power as we have said, is the expression of the human soul; no one can have conscious will power if he does not propose to incarnate the soul. The soul is incarnated with the mystic death.

Each time we, face to face with a situation, are attacked by the ego, and we succeed in overcoming this attack, we liberate particles of the essence and these group up with what we call soul and the answer in us is apparent immediately.

That particle of the essence forming part of the soul, manifests itself in us as will power.

Each time we, Gnostic students, achieve and conquer of passion during our transmutations that are well done by married couples or by single people, energy is liberated and it gives us life and consciousness; at the same time it is liberated, it unites with the soul and increases our will power.

Each time we, with great efforts or super-efforts, sacrifice ourselves for some dignified purpose and for humanity, that sum of values unites with our soul and increases our will power.

Each time we attend one of our holy rituals consciously, these Christic atoms found in the bread and the wine and at the moment we take these into our bodies, they are disseminated throughout our organism, throughout our endocrine glands...just like it says in the holy mass: “our internal glands where the rhythm of our life exists.” This energy unites with our soul and thus increases our will power.

Each time we attend a ‘chain’ consciously, that bio-electromagnetic energy manifested there, is united with our soul and we increase our will power.

Every discipline we impose on ourselves in our Christic esoteric work, merges with our Consciousness and increases our will power.

Dear Gnostic brother, with this we could see that what is called will power and which everyone aspires having, does not come to us by itself. It is the result of many super-efforts done consciously; it is the result of rigorous discipline and voluntary suffering.

Many people confuse conscious will power with egotistical impulses, with negative forces that at a given moment appear in the person inducing him/her to do improper deeds.

As we have said, conscious will power that is exerted in us is done by the human soul and one then, acquires a conscious work.

As students of the path of initiation, we have to differentiate between the creation of the existential bodies and what the Christification of these bodies means; therefore, to create the body of the will is one thing, and to have will power is quite another.

It is necessary to have will power; in other words, to create the soul and it is necessary to create the body of the will.
